i currently work with a guy whom i believe to be kind, sweet, funny, helpful, caring and also pretty cute. he's let me know he likes me a lot and prefers my company to most others. we get along very well even if he is a few years younger than me. the problem is he's married! i think about him a lot but end up disgusted with myself when i do. we've both made it very clear that we are just friends and that nothing is going to happen. I've told him in very certain terms that married men are not an option, yet we constantly seek each other out. flirting is fun and slightly innocent, what harm is there?

i spoke to a male friend of mine and explained in greater detail the situation listed above and my friend told me: the guy is fine with maintaining a the platonic relationship we currently have because he's married but that by telling me his feelings or desires that he's making it clear he's very willing to be seduced. it's kind of funny...

no, I'm not the least bit happy with my job but I'm only looking at it as a temporary solution. I left my old job of 5 1/2 years because I needed a change of pace. I took my current job 2 years ago only because I couldn't find anything else. I now work as an entry level accountant, but I was able to learn everything I needed to know about my job in just a few days - computer system and all.
My current job doesn't offer me a challenge in the least but its better than having no job at all. I'm always on the look out for something more interesting and I'm happy that I have 2 years in accounting to add to my resume. So, in the long run this will only be a short pit-stop on the way to something else.

OMFG!! i hate mkv files with a bloody passion. why do they even exist? i have now spent the better part of a full day converting one of my favorite shows from mkv over to avi just so i can burn it later to dvd. and yes that means i have to convert from avi to dvd format. I'm only doing this because the stupid mkv file loses the subtitles when converting to dvd. why i have no idea, but the only way i've been able to make the subtitles stay is by converting to avi. i'm not sure if the show i'm working on will ever be licensed in the US, so right now this is what i've chosen to do to add this show to my collection.

it's a pain in the butt, but i'm the one who decided to do this.

well, I'm really looking forward to the 2nd season of true blood starting next week. the promos are really sexy and all the actors are looking better this season. I really hated that mop they stuck on Eric's head last season, it was distracting. Thank God the actor playing Eric nailed his performance. I'm really hoping for more Eric and Pam this season and a whole lot less of Jason. He was not in the books that much to begin with and just adding him for the sex factor is way too much - dude, is naked and sweaty in every episode!

I think I'll like the show more if they follow the books and [SPOILER ALTER -->]ditch the SookiexBill relationship after it's revealed what a total bastard Bill is starting with book 3 when he leaves her to return to his maker and ends in book 5[?] when he's forced to reveal that he was a plant sent to seduce her in order to bring her under the Queens authority for her personal use - I said it before Bill is a total bastard, sure he finally loved her, but it was way too little way too late. I know in the beginning everyone hates the way Eric interferes - not me, i loved Eric from the start [1000 year old smokin' hot blond vampire - what's not to love?] he wanted Sookie from the start, and always showed it. she always knew that he wanted her to be his lover and for her telepathic ability. From Book 2 he's always looked out for her safety without needing to be asked by anyone - yes he does it for his benefit as well as hers, but HE does it without lying or cheating her.

Plus, Bill has zero personality, he's as boring as a potted planted. Sookie the reason he never talks is because he has nothing to say. He's lame! Man, I can't wait for her to hook up with Eric and stay with him. He understands her and gives her want she needs without her ever needing to ask for it. [<--END]

I got the bright idea a couple of months back to an extra day off on memorial weekend, thereby giving myself a mini-vacation. my holiday should have been up today, it was back up at 6am to drag myself into the crappy office to work another 12 to 13 hour day for a ridiculously low wage. But fate being the cruel, evil bitch that she is had other plans in store for me. I get an extra day off to....fix my crappy, crappy car. YAY!!

this is so not what I need right now. My very crappy job does not pay me enough money to pay all my bills each month and my already stretched budget can not handle another strain. I already have a second job which sort of helps but it doesn't give enough to fix or buy a car.

man, i need another good job that pays me an actual living wage!! no raises in my office for anyone but managers and chicks sleeping with managers in the past 4 years. most of the people i work with have second jobs - but management claims we all make too much money for what we do. I work in an accounting office, I work my ass off every day. I'm the office grunt so I get to do all my work and the work that the other office ladies don't want to do themselves.

So yeah I work and then I go to my second job and work some more. But my bosses spend a couple of hours at work each day, then they play golf and finish the day off in a bar with their girlfriends before going home to their wives. and those assholes have the nerve to complain that i get paid too much per hour.

sorry - enough of that rant I'm just a little pissed that the economy is in the toilet right now and that i can't get a better job until things start getting better.

I finally saw "Antique" and it was fantastic! I've wanted to see it since I first heard that it was being made...it's a BL movie starring Joo Ji Hoon and Kim Jae Wook, who wouldn't want to see it? Anyway it was a lot better than I expected it to be, I really though it would be a fluffy movie, starring 4 attractive men who created pretty pastries. But I was wrong, it went deeper than I thought it would regarding Joo Ji Hoon's story. The characters were well developed, and the story line was interesting and unexpected. I've never read the manga so I just thought it was going to be BL story, but it had comedy and romance tied in with a thriller.

Ju Ji Hun Admits to Drug Use

The police are continuing to investigate the case and believe that approximately 15 others were involved (financially or through intake) in this particular case. Reportedly, half (seven or eight) of the suspects are celebrities - with one male being as widely known as Ju is to the public.

Actor Ju Ji Hun (commonly spelled Joo Ji Hoon) has been booked without physical detention on charges of taking drugs, and admitted to the crime. He is one of a few acting or modelling celebrities who were caught importing drugs from Japan or taking the illegal drugs.

On April 26,the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency filed arrest warrants for movie actress Yoon Seol Hee, 28, and actor-model Ye Hak Young, 26 on the basis of smuggling narcotics into Korea. (Yoon’s and Ye’s full names were not originally released; however, recent articles have identified them.) The police also booked - but not detained - Ju Ji Hun along with two non-celebrity civilians for taking the illegally imported drugs. The police are reportedly charging Ju for two instances in March of 2008 when he took drugs while with the others. All five individuals will be put on trial by the public prosecutor’s office in the beginning of May.

According to the police, Yoon purchased drugs from an acquaintance in Japan and hid them in her underwear to take them illegally through customs. For a year from August 2007, Yoon received 100 million won from selling the drugs to buyers such as Ye. Yoon is suspected of importing 280 tablets of ecstasy and 280 grams of ketamine through 14 trips back and forth from Japan. Ju acquired an amount from Yoon, and proceeded to take some two or three times at Ye’s home in March of 2008.

A representative of the police agency stated that this is the first time a celebrity has been caught directly importing, selling, and taking narcotics. They suspect that there are others who were involved (financially or through intake), and will continue to investigate the situation.

Yoon has appeared in minor roles in various films such as Tazza and A Good Day for an Affair. Ye most recently participated in the music video for Seo Taiji’s “Juliet”. It is yet to be known how this will impact Ju’s pending Japanese fan meetings and Tokyo Tower drama project.

I am so disappointed after finding this out. I've followed Joo Ji Joon's career since Goong and have became a fan of his work. I was hoping that with the success of "Antique" he'd be in more movies and dramas that would be able to showcase his talent and ability. But that's probably over now and he risked it all for drugs - how meaningless.

I can't believe he didn't think he'd get caught. He's an actor not a super villain, what it the hell was he thinking? I mean if you're dumb enough to try it in the first place knowing that if caught that it will mean not only conviction and jail time but the probable end to your career and bright future and you do it anyway - then you get what you deserve. He took the risk knowing that the outcome could be. He's not the only actor in Korea, as a matter of course his profession is one where people come and go all the time. The next big star is always just waiting to be discovered.

Boys Before Flowers Stunned by Jang Ja Yun Suicide
It was another setback and a major one for Boys Before Flowers as one of the actresses, Jang Ja Yun (27) who plays Sunny in the drama and makes life difficult for Jandi as part of the JinSunMi trio was found to have committed suicide in her Bundang home today.

According to local police who confirmed the suicide," Jang Ja Yun was found to have committed suicide in her own home today. She was discovered at around 7.34pm by her sister who then called the police. We are now investigating the case and will give further updates like the reason, her will (if any), etc at a later time." The police also revealed that her approximate time of death was around 4.30pm and that she had hung herself.

Friends who knew Jang Ja Yun was shocked by her suicide and expressed, "She had a passion for acting and loved it very much. She was very much a extrovert and we never really expected that she would commit suicide." Her sudden suicide has plunged the entire Boys Before Flowers into shock with the main cast of Lee Min Ho, Goo Hye Sun, etc unable to believe what they have heard after learning of the news from their respective companies.

Everyone involved with Boys Before Flowers will be paying their respects tomorrow morning at her wake after the morning session ends. According to someone at the filming site now, "We are still filming now (10pm, KST) and it was a big shock to receive this sad news suddenly. Why do all the bad things keep happening to Boys Before Flowers?"

Jang Ja Yun graduated from Chosun University and had made her debut through a Lotte Biscuit CF and was only starting out with her acting career. She still won a bit of popularity for her small role in Boys Before Flowers despite her late debut. But it's being reported that a dispute with her present management agency and a lack of time in Boys Before Flowers had left her feeling depressed and eventually causing her to choose the wrong path.

She only recently walked the red carpet at the recent 45th Baeksang Awards with the other 2 members of the JinSunMi trio, showing her excellent figure. She was also going to debut on the big screen with 2 upcoming movies and the future looked bright but her sudden suicide has left people feeling pity for her. What could possibly get worse from here on for Boys Before Flowers? Jang Ja Yun joins a lengthening list of Korean celebrities who have committed suicide in recent years. It's just a very sad situation overall.

I must say that I'm enjoying watching the Korean version on Hana Yori Dango and can't wait for the next episode. The cast is great, all so fresh, young and pretty. This time I find myself wishing that Geum Jan Di [Makino Tsukushi] would forget about Goo Joon Pyo [Domyoji Tsukasa] and fall for Yoon Ji Hoo[Hanazawa Rui]. Yoon Ji Hoo is my favorite character this time around, he is such a sweet, kind, caring, wonderful person - he didn't have to go through an entire personality change to become a human being like Goo Joon Pyo did. And maybe I'm just saying this because I've seen the show before and a little change would be nice, but I think in all actuality Goo Joon Pyo is a little much to take most of the time. This time I'd like to see Yoon Ji Hoo get the girl. It was a little sad in the Japanese version when Yoon Ji Hoo[Hanazawa Rui] ended up with no one, but only for a second cause I really didn't like him, or I should say the actor all that much. I just thought your pathetic and you really didn't deserve anyone. But this time I really like the actor playing Yoon Ji Hoo and I find myself rooting for him all the time.

Goo Joon Pyo please save the company, while loving Jan Di from a far and being happy that a guy as wonderful as Yoon Ji Hoo is with her. And please, for the love of God, keep you mother way from everyone on the planet - that woman is a nightmare.

I recently joined the legal streaming video site DramaFever and I must say that I really love it. It provides access to Kdrama's that are English subbed, the video quality it excellent but sometimes the feed can be a little choppy. Title selections are limited in number and seem to be from MBC only. I watched Coffee Prince for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved it. I'm thinking of watching Goong again this weekend. I'm so happy with this site, I just wish I could find one like this for Jdramas.

the real draw back to this site is that it's only available to the U.S. right now but hopefully that will change very, very soon.

Yesterday morning everything started off like normal. I over slept, skipped breakfast and took a shower. While in the shower I noticed the water as draining a little slow but paid it no really attention since I had to rush to make it to work. When I returned home that night everything seemed normal in the house. Later that evening I heard water coming from the bathroom so went to investigate. I found warm water coming up the drain in the tub along with weird bits of something and tiny pieces of paper were in the water - very gross. Then I noticed water starting to pool on the floor. It was really turning into a lovely evening.

This morning i still had gross stuff and water in the tub and when I flushed the toilet water from the base on the floor and flooded the bathroom. I called the landlord, he had me call the plumber and they said they'd be here this afternoon. Mean while I have to pee like crazy and my house now smells like sewer water.

The new years seems to be starting off on the right foot, huh?

I purchased Metalocalypse Season II this past week and watched straight through. All I can say is that it was awesome, I completely loved it!!! I had to go back and re-watch my season one
DVD again. I wish they would hurry up and start season three, i want to watch it now!

I also purchased the spectacular HBO mini-series Generation War. I can't recommend this show enough. It was very well done: it stared an excellent cast who really brought their characters to life; a gripping storyline set within the first 21 days of the Iraqi invasion which is made all the significant by the fact that our soldiers are still there fighting a seemingly endless battle. Anyway, kudos to everyone involved with this amazing story. i can't wait to read the book next.

I read the twilight series a while ago and, for the most part, enjoyed it. I know it was written for teens from the perspective of a teen. It was simultaneously refreshing and corny - teenage girl falls in love with her undead prince charming - seriously, it was a Disney fairytale for teenagers. It even felt like it was written by a teenager, I'm not sure what that says about the author, either she's very good a her craft or she has the mindset and vocabulary of a not-so-intelligent high school student. Seriously, I became very wary of the authors attempts at physical descriptions "he looked like a model,blah blah blah"... seriously? this is the best she could do? She was completely unable to come up with another way to describe someone? I understand that it could be considered helpful at first, as usually describing someone as looking like a model would mean that they are attractive. But part of the purpose of reading is to learn, but this series made be think the author was really trying to dumb it down the whole time or that she herself was possibly lacking in the vocabulary department. My advise: learn a few new adjectives.

With that being said, I did enjoy the first three books a great deal. I was unable to put them down and read the whole series in about 4 days in between work and sleep. As I alluded too earlier they were very simply put together, very formulaic: girl meets boy, they fall in love and ridiculous over-the-top chaos ensues, happy ending - and i ate it up like candy, well all except how they came to have their happy ending...

The forth book was complete crap! there is really not must to be said about the final installment of the series except that it was just totally absurd. Reading it was understanding that the author had absolutely nothing left to give to these characters and was just writing to get a fat paycheck and end the series [spoiler alert - highlight to read →]she got pregnant?!?!?!?! are you fucking kidding me? she married a guy who's been dead over a hundred years - he doesn't breath, doesn't have beating heart, doesn't have any of his own blood flowing through his veins, but he somehow has sperm? Ms Meyer, I can't believe your editor didn't slap you silly when you turned this shit it. Really, what a completely preposterous way to end the series. thanks for phoning it in and sicking it to the fans

On a final note, I finally broke down and saw the twilight movie the other day and I wish I hadn't wasted my money. It was nothing more that a shallow imitation of the book, all the charm and wit of the first book was striped away and all that was left was angst and confusion. If, like me, you enjoyed the books then the movie may be little difficult to watch. And it really did help that the person cast as the driving force for the entire twilight universe, Bella, was horrible in her part - she had zero emotional range, zero believability and zero talent for this part. it was truly a huge disappointment for me.
